If you’re planning on building a shed, any sort of shed. Make sure you buy the best set of wooden shed plans you can buy.

Why so? You ask. If you’re like me you’ve probably built woodworking projects using “plans” you scribbled on the back of an envelope during a coffee break. That’s fine for small projects, but even then did you get it right first time? Or did you have to rethink and redesign your project?

How often have you had to stop working and drive out to the home center or the lumber yard because your plan wasn’t quite right? Did your weekend project actually take weeks? Maybe it would have been easier in the long run to buy what you were making.

Measure twice, cut once. I’m sure we’re all familiar with that statement. But how often have you cut your timber and found it didn’t fit? Not because you can’t read a tape measure, but because you’re scribbled plan wasn’t quite right.

So if you’re planning something a bit more ambitious, a potting shed or a tool shed perhaps. It would be a good idea to get a set of plans. Not just any old set of plans, but the best you can get hour hands on.

So what should you be looking for? Ideally you don’t want just a drawing, however accurate. You should also have an accurate materials list, so you buy all the supplies you need before you start building your shed. No more having to down tools, to run to the store.

You should also have accurate blueprints, detail drawings, blow up sections, step by step instructions so you know exactly what you’re doing from start to finish. So If you’re looking for quality shed plans look no further than Shed Plans Elite.
